Keeney Rigging & Trucking is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Glastonbury, CT. This is a full-time, local driving position. All of our trucks have manual transmissions, so applicants must be experienced and comfortable driving standard/manual trucks. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable operating heavy trucks and tractor-trailers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company trucks and tractor-trailers
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Properly secure loads for safe transport
• Maintain required driver logs and paperwork
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Maintain a professional attitude when working with customers, employees, and job-site personnel

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Must be able to drive a manual/standard transmission (CDL must not have an E restriction)
• Previous commercial truck-driving experience required
• Clean and safe driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to safely handle the physical requirements of the position
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety

Schedule

Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with hours varying as needed based on job schedules.
