Description: Role Overview Pizza Chefs are responsible for preparing and executing Parry's signature pizzas according to recipe standards, dough-handling techniques, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires strong attention to detail, discipline, speed, and the ability to stay organized during high-volume service.
Pizza Chefs play a direct role in food quality, kitchen flow, guest satisfaction, and maintaining the standards that make Parry's pizza unique.
Responsibilities + Duties - Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough consistently and according to Parry's standards
- Prepare and execute pizzas with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations consistently
- Understand proper dough handling, bake quality, and pizza finishing techniques
- Maintain organized stations, prep levels, and kitchen readiness throughout the shift
- Communicate clearly with BOH teammates during high-volume service
- Support overall kitchen flow by assisting with prep, cleanup, and station support
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Balance speed and efficiency without sacrificing quality or consistency
- Take pride in the craft, discipline, and technical execution of the pizza station
- Accountable for line checks, taste, temps
- Cross-trained into other stations to support kitchen operations
Requirements: Qualifications + Skills - 2+ years of made-from-scratch pizza experience, including hand-stretching dough
- Ability to work early mornings, nights and weekends as needed
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
- Reliable, disciplined, and focused under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn, take coaching, and continue developing technical skills
- Passion for food, pizza, and kitchen craftsmanshi
