The Journeyman Electrician will primarily work on small residential and commercial projects, performing a variety of electrical tasks including wiring installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role requires adherence to safety standards and electrical codes, with independent work balanced by team collaboration under the supervision of a senior electrician. The position involves local travel to multiple sites using standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring on residential and small commercial projects
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform equipment testing
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Interact professionally with customers and document work performed
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members and report to a senior electrician
• Travel locally to multiple job sites as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid State of Texas Journeyman Electrical License
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, code compliance, and blueprint reading
• Proven ability to safely troubleshoot, install, and maintain electrical systems
• Effective teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and status as a U.S. resident
